We operate the AutoLog iOS application. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information in connection with your use of AutoLog. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring transparency about our data practices.

2. Data We Collect

AutoLog does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. All information you enter into the app — including vehicle details, service records, fuel logs, reminders, trip logs, and documents — is stored exclusively on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework.

3. iCloud

If you have iCloud enabled on your Apple device, your app data may be synchronised across your personal devices via Apple's iCloud service. This synchronisation is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy (apple.com/legal/privacy). We do not have access to your iCloud data at any time.

4. Photos and Documents

Any photos or documents you add to AutoLog (such as vehicle photos, insurance documents, or MOT certificates) are stored locally on your device. These files are not uploaded to any external server.

5. In-App Purchases

Purchases within AutoLog are processed entirely by Apple via the App Store. We do not receive, store, or process your payment details. Your purchase history is managed by Apple's StoreKit framework and linked to your Apple ID.

6. Local Notifications

AutoLog schedules service reminders as local notifications on your device. These notifications are generated locally and do not involve any data being sent to external servers.

7. Analytics and Advertising

AutoLog does not include any third-party analytics, advertising networks, or tracking SDKs. We do not monitor, record, or analyse your usage of the app.

8. Children's Privacy

AutoLog is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Your continued use of AutoLog after changes are published constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.

Terms of Use

1. Acceptance

By downloading, installing, or using AutoLog, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, you must not use the application.

2. Licence

You are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use AutoLog on Apple devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial purposes.

3. Free Trial

AutoLog offers a 7-day free trial of Pro features beginning on first launch. No payment is required to start. At the end of the 7-day period, Pro features will be restricted unless a one-time purchase is completed.

4. Pro Purchase

AutoLog Pro is a one-time in-app purchase that unlocks unlimited vehicles, document storage, PDF export, full statistics, trip logging, and warning light tracking. Your purchase is linked to your Apple ID and can be restored on any device signed in with the same Apple ID at no additional cost.

5. Refunds

All purchases are final and processed by Apple. Refund requests must be submitted to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

6. User Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter. AutoLog is a personal tracking tool and does not constitute professional mechanical, legal, or financial advice.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and branding within AutoLog are the intellectual property of the developer. You may not reproduce, modify, or distribute any part of AutoLog without prior written consent.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

AutoLog is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that AutoLog will be error-free or uninterrupted.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of AutoLog.
