NutriStamp ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our iOS application.

1. Information We Collect

NutriStamp is designed with privacy first. We collect minimal data:

  • Product & Recipe Data: Your saved products, ingredients, and nutrition data are stored locally on your device and optionally in your personal iCloud account. We never access this data.
  • Food Search Queries: When you search for ingredients, your query is sent to our Cloudflare Worker proxy, which forwards it to the USDA FoodData Central API. We do not log or store your search queries.
  • Purchase Information: Subscription purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or store any payment information.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide nutrition data from the USDA database
  • To sync your products across your devices via iCloud
  • To verify your subscription status via Apple's StoreKit

3. Data Storage & Security

  • All product data is stored locally on your device with iOS Data Protection enabled
  • iCloud sync uses Apple's encrypted CloudKit infrastructure
  • Our Cloudflare Worker uses HTTPS with certificate pinning
  • We never sell, share, or monetize your personal data

4. Third-Party Services

  • Apple iCloud / CloudKit: For optional data sync — governed by Apple's Privacy Policy
  • USDA FoodData Central: For nutrition data — no personal data is shared
  • Cloudflare: As our API proxy infrastructure
  • Apple App Store: For subscription management

5. Children's Privacy

NutriStamp is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

6. Your Rights

Since we do not collect personal data on our servers, there is no data to delete or export. You can delete all local data by uninstalling the app. iCloud data can be managed through your iCloud settings.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the date at the top of this page.

By downloading or using NutriStamp, you agree to these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using NutriStamp, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

NutriStamp is a nutrition label creation tool for iOS. It uses USDA food data to calculate nutrition information and generate compliant labels for food products.

3. Subscription & Payments

  • NutriStamp Pro is available as a monthly (.99/month) or yearly (9.99/year) subscription
  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
  • You can manage and cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings
  • No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods

4. Accuracy of Nutrition Information

NutriStamp uses data from the USDA FoodData Central database. While we strive for accuracy, nutrition values are estimates and may vary based on specific brands, preparation methods, and ingredient variations.

It is your responsibility to verify that your labels comply with applicable food labeling regulations in your jurisdiction before use on commercial products.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use NutriStamp for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or modify the app
  • Use the app to create fraudulent or misleading food labels
  • Circumvent any subscription or payment mechanisms

6. Intellectual Property

NutriStamp and all its content, features, and functionality are owned by chmays.app and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

NutriStamp is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free or that nutrition data will be 100% accurate for all food products.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, chmays.app shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of NutriStamp.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
