Privacy Policy

What We Collect

MoveLocal collects your device's GPS location while the app is in use to show nearby places and calculate routes. We also store your saved places and app preferences locally on your device using standard iOS storage (UserDefaults). No account or sign-up is required.

What We Don't Do

• We do not sell your data to anyone
• We do not share your location with advertisers
• We do not store your location history on any server
• We do not require an account or email address
• We do not run ads inside the app

Apple MapKit & Place Search

Place search and map display are powered by Apple MapKit. When you search for places, queries are sent to Apple's servers under Apple's Privacy Policy (apple.com/privacy). We do not control or store these queries.

WeatherKit

Weather data is provided by Apple WeatherKit. Your location is used to fetch local weather conditions. This data is processed by Apple under their privacy policy and is not stored by MoveLocal.

In-App Purchases

MoveLocal Pro is a one-time purchase processed entirely by Apple. We do not have access to your payment details. Purchase status is stored locally on your device using a secure flag. We use Apple's StoreKit 2 framework for all transactions.

Saved Places

Places you bookmark are stored locally on your device. They are not uploaded to any server and are permanently removed when you uninstall the app.

Location Permissions

• When In Use: Required to show nearby places, calculate routes, and display your position on the map. You can revoke this at any time in iOS Settings → MoveLocal → Location.
• We never request "Always" location access.

Children

MoveLocal is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
