GymNest ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the GymNest app and web dashboard.

1. Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly when you create an account or use the app, including:

• Gym name, owner name, and contact information (email, phone, address)
• Member information you enter: names, contact details, membership plans, and notes
• Payment records and check-in history
• Photos you upload for member profiles or announcements

2. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the GymNest service
• Process membership records and check-ins
• Enable QR code check-in functionality for your members
• Send notifications about expiring memberships (only if enabled)
• Respond to support requests
• Ensure the security of the service

3. Data storage

Your data is stored securely on Cloudflare's global infrastructure using D1 (database) and R2 (photo storage). We use industry-standard encryption to protect your data in transit and at rest.

4. Data sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We do not share your gym member data with any outside parties. Your data is used solely to operate the GymNest service.

5. Member data

As a gym owner using GymNest, you are responsible for the personal data of your members that you enter into the app. You should ensure you have appropriate consent from your members to store their information digitally.

6. In-app purchases

GymNest offers a Pro subscription through Apple's App Store. All payment processing is handled by Apple. We do not store your payment card details. Subscription management is done through your iPhone Settings → Subscriptions.

7. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data will be removed from our systems within 30 days.

8. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at support@gymnest.org.

9. Children's privacy

GymNest is intended for use by gym owners and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page.
