By downloading, installing, or using StepForge ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not download or use the App.

These Terms apply to all users of the App, including users of any free or paid features.

📱 2. Description of Service

StepForge is a personal fitness tracking application for iOS that helps you track your daily steps, health metrics, and fitness goals using Apple HealthKit. The App is available as a free download with an optional Pro subscription.

✅ 3. Permitted Use

You may use StepForge solely for your own personal, non-commercial fitness tracking purposes. You agree to:

• Use the App in accordance with these Terms and all applicable laws
• Provide accurate information when setting up your profile
• Keep your device and app updated for the best experience

🚫 4. Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use the App for any commercial purpose without our written consent
• Attempt to circumvent any subscription or payment mechanisms
• Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity of the App

StepForge is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition or disease.

The health and fitness information provided by the App is for informational and motivational purposes only. You should:

• Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting any new fitness or exercise program
• Not rely on the App for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment
• Seek immediate medical attention if you experience any health emergency

Step counts, calorie estimates, and other metrics are approximations based on device sensors and may not be 100% accurate.

👑 6. Pro Subscription

StepForge offers a Pro subscription that unlocks additional features:

• Price: $3.99 per month (prices may vary by region)
• Free Trial: 14 days free for new subscribers
• Billing: Processed by Apple through your App Store account
• Auto-renewal: Subscription automatically renews monthly unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Cancellation: Cancel anytime through your Apple ID account settings
• Refunds: Managed by Apple — contact Apple Support for refund requests

Free trial eligibility is determined by Apple and may not be available if you have previously subscribed.

❤️ 7. Apple HealthKit

StepForge integrates with Apple HealthKit. By enabling HealthKit integration, you agree to Apple's HealthKit Terms of Service. We access only the health data types you explicitly authorize and use them solely to provide the App's features.

🔒 8. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, graphics, and features of StepForge are the exclusive property of chmays.app and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App without our express written permission.

⚠️ 9. Disclaimer of Warranties

StepForge is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• Any health or fitness data will be accurate or complete
• The App will meet your specific requirements

📉 10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, chmays.app shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use StepForge, including but not limited to health outcomes, data loss, or fitness-related injuries.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

🔄 11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes through an app update or by posting a notice in the App. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

⚖️ 12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the App shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation, and if unsuccessful, through binding arbitration.

StepForge uses Apple HealthKit and Apple's In-App Purchase system. Your use of these features is subject to Apple's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for the practices of Apple or any other third-party services.
