Overview

Felix and Felixo are pet wellness apps that store all your data locally on your device. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our practices.

Data We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, store or share:

Personal information or account data
Pet health records or wellness data
Photos or media from your device
Location data
Usage analytics or behavioral data
Financial information

Data Stored on Your Device

All app data — including pet profiles, health records, weight logs, mood history, photos and preferences — is stored exclusively on your device using local storage. This data never leaves your device except when you explicitly choose to share it.

AI Features

When you use AI features (AI Mood Lab, AI Assistant, Symptom Checker), a description of your pet's behavior or symptoms is sent to Anthropic's Claude API via a secure Cloudflare proxy. Only the text you enter is transmitted — no personal information, no pet health records and no identifying data is included. Food Barcode Scanner

When you scan a food barcode, the barcode number is sent to the Open Food Facts database to retrieve product information. No personal data is transmitted.

Subscriptions & Payments

All subscription payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not handle, store or have access to your payment information. Apple's privacy policy governs payment processing.

Permissions

The apps may request the following permissions:

Camera — to scan food barcodes and take pet photos
Photo Library — to add photos to your pet's journal
Microphone — for purr/bark analysis features
Notifications — for feeding reminders and alerts

All permissions are optional. You can manage them in iPhone Settings.

Children's Privacy

Our apps are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
